Travel time to SoFi Stadium

The 40-minute drive is a typical run from Los Angeles without show traffic (the optimistic number). In the app, set SoFi Stadium as the destination and Apple Maps fills in the time from where you’re leaving.

Then add for show night: every car aiming at the same entrance (real drive to SoFi Stadium). Change the row and every step before it moves.

What the time on the ticket means

The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on. Seating here is reserved, so nobody is racing for a spot; the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.

Most stadium tours also sell a general-admission floor or pit, and that ticket is a different evening: the queue for a place at the rail forms outside long before the lots open. The plan here is for a numbered seat.

The lots, and the walk in

The site is enormous and parking is sold by zone rather than by lot, spread right across it, so the walk in from an outer zone is one of the longest of any stadium. Zones typically open two to four hours before the show and the stadium's own advice is to come as soon as they do, because the surface streets seize up well before the start.

The zone number on your pass decides the walk, and the spread between the inner and outer ones is about ten minutes each way. Tailgating is confined to the Pink Zone with a pass bought in advance, which is the rule the stadium publishes for football; it has published nothing separate for concerts, so do not count on one.

Your seat is reserved, so nothing is lost by not being there the moment the gates open. The stadium's own advice is the opposite of cutting it fine, though: come when the parking zones open, two to four hours out, because the surface streets fill long before the show does. The walk from the lot depends on which lot you got.

Can I take a bus or train to SoFi Stadium?

Not directly, and this is the one to check before you go. Metro's C and K lines reach the area and a shuttle runs the last stretch to the stadium, but the pickup station changed recently and the stadium publishes its routing for football rather than for concerts. There is no rail station at the stadium itself.

What bag can I bring into SoFi Stadium?

A clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches or a small non-clear bag up to 4.5 by 6.5, and the stadium encourages bringing none at all. A bag valet operates at selected events for anything that does not meet the policy. One factory-sealed 20-ounce water bottle per person is allowed. You cannot exit and re-enter on the same ticket.
