Show night at Intuit Dome, Inglewood, California. Not sure which time on the ticket matters? The concert night plan covers doors, opener and headliner at any venue.
The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on. Seating here is reserved, so nobody is racing for a spot; the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.
Some tours sell a general admission floor, and that ticket is a different evening: the line for the floor runs on the tour’s own clock. The plan here is for a numbered seat.
Here is the evening drawn to scale. A maps app can number the ride in. The rest is the queue at the door, the screening, and the walk to your row.
Front door to your seat: 1hr 44min
No train stops at the arena, and the LA Metro connector shuttles from the C Line, the K Line and the LAX/Metro Transit Center run only for Clippers home games. On a concert night the arena’s own free shuttles are the way in without a car. Regional Park & Ride buses leave from Union Station, Expo/Sepulveda, El Monte, Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Pierce College, with Norwalk added for select events, and parking at some of those stops may cost extra. Electric micro transit vans pick up at more than a hundred points within six miles of the arena.
Every rider books ahead in the Clippers + Intuit Dome app through RideCo, and nobody rides without a reservation. Pick-ups start two hours before the show, and you are dropped at the Mobility Hub in the East Garage between doors and the start. Going home, pick-up starts at the East Garage half an hour after the show ends. A Park & Ride booking includes the ride back, and a micro transit ride home is booked separately. Driving, the arena’s directions use the 405 to Century Boulevard or the 105 to Prairie Avenue, and a weeknight show puts you on them at the end of the evening commute.
Intuit Dome has its own garages, and a space in one is guaranteed only if you buy a parking pass ahead and add your car to the Vehicle Profile in the Clippers + Intuit Dome app, which lets the garage read your license plate on the way in. The VIP West Garage is entered from Prairie Avenue and the Standard East Garage from 102nd Street, and they open four hours before the show.
Parking is cashless. Without a pass, the arena says to carpool or take a rideshare. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up are allowed only at the Mobility Hub on the first level of the East Garage, which is also where taxis and the arena’s free shuttles stop. The arena recommends Waze for the drive in, because it carries the latest road closures.
Both garage entrances are on Prairie Avenue or 102nd Street, so navigate to the one on your pass. The arena’s own address is on Century Boulevard.
There are no paper tickets and no barcode at Intuit Dome, concerts included. Everyone needs their own account in the Clippers + Intuit Dome app with a ticket on it, made with the same email as the Ticketmaster account the tickets were bought on. Transfer or assign tickets to your guests before you leave, and add children under 13 as Teammates. You get in with GameFace ID, a selfie saved in the app that lets you walk through with your phone in your pocket, or by tapping the Identity Pass in your phone’s wallet.
At the Main Entrance the GameFace lane is on the left and the Identity Pass lane on the right. Without a smartphone, the Answers Portal near the entrance can set you up with a wristband. Bags are limited to clutches, clear ones included, up to 10 by 6 by 2 inches. Medical and childcare bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches are allowed and go through X-ray. No outside food or drink, though you can bring an empty refillable bottle of a quart or less. The arena is cashless, and there is no re-entry.
Doors, lots and bag rules change; the official site is the live source.
The plan's floor is the gate 28 minutes before the show: screening, the walk to your section, and a few minutes in the seat. Your seat is reserved, so nothing is lost by not being there the moment the gates open. The parts to budget for are the walk from the garage and the screening line at the Main Entrance.
About 5:31 PM from Los Angeles driving in, travelling light. Every row above is editable; the first travel row is your leave-by time.
