Enter the showtime, say which lot, and see when to leave and when to start getting ready.
Show night at Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, Michigan. Not sure which time on the ticket matters? The concert night plan covers doors, opener and headliner at any venue.
The 25-minute drive is a typical run from Detroit without show traffic (the optimistic number). In the app, set Little Caesars Arena as the destination and Apple Maps fills in the time from where you’re leaving.
Then add for show night: every car aiming at the same entrance (real drive to Little Caesars Arena). Change the row and every step before it moves.
The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on. Seating here is reserved, so nobody is racing for a spot; the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.
Some arena tours sell a general-admission floor, and that ticket is a different evening: the queue for a place at the rail forms outside long before the garages open. The plan here is for a numbered seat.
Here is the evening drawn to scale. A maps app can number the drive. The rest is the walk in from the lot, the bag check, and the walk to your row.
Front door to your seat: 1hr 25min
The arena sits on Woodward at 2525, at the top of downtown, which is the road everyone else is using too. From the suburbs it is I-75 or the Lodge, and both feed the same few blocks at the same time. The QLine streetcar runs the length of Woodward and is free to ride, and its Sproat Street stop is half a block from the doors, so parking once in Midtown or New Center and riding in beats crawling the last mile.
It runs every fifteen minutes or so until midnight Monday to Saturday and until 9pm on Sundays, which an eight o'clock Sunday show will outlast. The People Mover loops the older part of downtown and Grand Circus Park is its nearest station, a few minutes' walk south. DDOT and SMART buses both run Woodward.
Olympia Development runs garages here rather than lots, thirty-two locations across the District, and the six it names for the arena are the Comerica, McLaren, Tigers, Temple West, Trinity Health and UWM garages. They open three hours before the show and close two hours after, every one is credit card only with no in and out, and booking through ParkDistrictDetroit.com or SpotHero costs less than the drive-up rate.
Accessible parking is first come, first served, and the Trinity Health, UWM and Temple West garages are the closest for it. Rideshare and accessible drop-off share the same curb, on the westbound Fisher Service Drive beside the UWM Garage.
The venue's own promise is that every one of its locations is within a ten-minute walk, so the choice is between one of the six garages the venue names and a lot out in the District that adds a few blocks of Woodward to the walk.
Bags are the part to settle at home and the limit is small: nothing over 4 by 6 by 1.5 inches, which is a wallet, a clutch or a small fanny pack and not much else. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed up to 16 by 16 by 8 inches after inspection, and those are the only bags that get searched. Everyone goes through a walk-through metal detector, with a hand wand if it alarms.
One factory-sealed plastic bottle of water up to 20 ounces, or one empty plastic bottle, is the only outside drink allowed. The arena is cashless, with reverse ATMs that turn cash into a prepaid card at no charge. There is no re-entry once you are inside, and the building is smoke-free and vape-free throughout.
Doors, lots and bag rules change; the official site is the live source.
The plan's floor is the gate 28 minutes before the show: screening, the walk to your section, and a few minutes in the seat. Your seat is reserved, so nothing is lost by not being there the moment the gates open. The walk from the lot depends on which lot you got.
About 5:50 PM from Detroit with a 25-minute drive and a spot in one of the garages against the arena. Earlier for one of the outer District lots. Every row above is editable; the first travel row is your leave-by time.

About five minutes from a garage against the arena. The venue's own ceiling is ten minutes from any of its thirty-two locations, so an outer District lot is nearer that. The plan's default for one of the outer District lots is 10 minutes, and it is editable.

Ready Time keeps the plan and subtracts again when the show time changes. Put in the next ticket and the same steps land on new times, with an alert on each one.
Get a nudge at the right moment, while there's still time to act.
Each step gets its own alert, so you know what's next and how long you have.
Start the plan in the app, and the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show the time left, with a bar that fills as each step passes.
Glance at it on the walk in without opening the app.
