Doors open an hour before showtime at most shows here.
Enter the showtime, say which ticket and which lot, and see when to leave.
Show night at Kaseya Center, Miami, Florida. Not sure which time on the ticket matters? The concert night plan covers doors, opener and headliner at any venue.
The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on, and at most shows here the doors opened an hour earlier. With a general-admission ticket that gap is not spare: the spot on the floor you get is decided by where you are in the line when the doors open, and everyone with the same idea is on the same walk in. So the plan puts you in that line before doors, and the stretch from doors to showtime is a row of its own.
With a reserved seat the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.
Here is the evening drawn to scale. A maps app can number the drive. The rest is the walk in from the lot, the bag check, and the walk to your row.
Front door to your seat: 1hr 33min
The usual show times here
There is no fixed schedule at a concert venue; the promoter sets each show's time, and these are the ones this one runs most often. Pick the one on your ticket and every step before it moves. Anything else, tap the showtime and type it in.
Doors are an hour before showtime at most shows. Kaseya Center’s own rule is that doors open an hour before the start time at most events, and seventeen of the eighteen concerts on its calendar post exactly that. The exception opens ninety minutes out, so check your event page in the week of the show. The event page on the official Kaseya Center site lists doors and showtime; the ticket often lists only one. If your gap is different, edit the settle-in row.
Metromover is free, and its Miami Worldcenter station, called Park West until 2025 and still named that on the arena’s directions, is a couple of blocks west of the arena: walk east and cross Biscayne Boulevard. From Metrorail, change at Government Center to the Metromover Omni Loop. Metromover’s posted hours end at 10 p.m., which an eight o’clock show will outlast, so plan the ride home separately.
Metrorail runs until midnight, and the arena says it may run until 1 a.m. after a special event there. Metromover is in the middle of an upgrade that sometimes keeps loops closed until the afternoon on a weekend, so check Miami-Dade’s rider alerts before a weekend show. From Broward and Palm Beach, Brightline connects to Metrorail at Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre. By car, check the I-395/SR 836/I-95 rebuild’s traffic alerts for lane and ramp closures near downtown.
Kaseya Center was previously called American Airlines Arena, FTX Arena and later Miami-Dade Arena, so older directions, tickets and map pins may still use that name.
Parking right by the arena is scarce. Kaseya Center says several lots next to the building have closed for good as downtown has grown, and it points drivers at flat-rate lots within walking distance.
For concerts and most other non-HEAT events, an advance pass for the P2 Garage under the arena is sold on Ticketmaster, and it guarantees you a space so you are not turned away when the garage fills. Parking is cashless and mobile only. Rideshare drops off at the corner of Bayshore Drive and HEAT Boulevard, by Gate 6, and taxis use Gate 3 on NE 8th Street.
Each gate is closest to certain sections. Gates 1 and 2, up the ramp and stairs on the west side facing Biscayne Boulevard, lead straight to escalators for the 100 level, Gate 1 near Sections 119 to 124 and Gate 2 near 101 to 106. Gate 5, up the stairs on the north side, is closest to 107 to 112, and Gate 6 on the south side opens onto the 100 level. Gates 3 and 4 on NE 8th Street are for premium, VIP and disabled guests.
Doors open an hour before the show at most concerts here. The arena asks you to travel light: anything bigger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches is turned away, and a bag under that size is searched. Medical and infant bags are allowed and go through an X-ray at Gate 3. A bag that does not fit can go in a paid Binbox locker, from $10, on the South Plaza above the Gate 7 steps or next to the box office near Gates 4 and 5; the lockers open an hour before doors and close an hour after the show.
Stroller check is at Gate 7 for $20. Laptops are not allowed. No outside food or drink, the building is cashless with reverse ATMs inside, and there is no re-entry. Smoking and vaping are banned on the balconies and plazas around the building as well as inside.
Doors, lots and bag rules change; the official site is the live source.
For a general-admission ticket, be in the line before doors, which are an hour before showtime at most shows here. Be there half an hour before they open, and the ticket chip rebuilds the plan around that.
For a reserved seat, aim to be at the gate 28 minutes before the show, which is what the plan above shows. Either way the walk in from the lot is the part to budget for, and it depends on which lot you got. Carrying a bag adds about five minutes to that.
About 6:42 PM from Miami with a reserved seat with a 30-minute drive and a spot in one of the flat-rate lots within walking distance. Later for the P2 Garage under the arena, earlier for a general-admission floor ticket or a bag to screen. Every row above is editable; the first travel row is your leave-by time.
Lots right next to the arena have closed for good, and the arena points drivers at flat-rate lots within walking distance. For concerts, an advance P2 Garage pass sold on Ticketmaster guarantees a space under the arena. Parking is cashless. Rideshare drops off at Bayshore Drive and HEAT Boulevard, by Gate 6. The official Kaseya Center site has the current lots.
A few minutes from the P2 Garage, which sits under the arena. The flat-rate lots the arena points to are within walking distance, several minutes farther. The plan's default for one of the flat-rate lots within walking distance is 8 minutes, and it is editable.
Yes, on the way in. Metromover is free and stops at Miami Worldcenter, formerly Park West, a couple of blocks west across Biscayne Boulevard; from Metrorail, change at Government Center to the Omni Loop. Metromover’s posted hours end at 10 p.m., so plan another way home from a late show. Metrorail runs until midnight and may run until 1 a.m. after an event at the arena. Brightline connects to Metrorail at Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre.
Travel light. Anything over 10 by 6 by 2 inches is turned away and smaller bags are searched. Medical and infant bags are allowed and X-rayed at Gate 3. Paid Binbox lockers on the South Plaza and by the box office take anything bigger, from an hour before doors. No outside food or drink, no laptops, and no re-entry.

Start the plan in the app, and the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show the time left, with a bar that fills as each step passes.

Every step also gets its own alert, and sharing the plan gives whoever is driving the same leave time, with alerts on their phone.
