Doors open an hour before showtime at most shows here. Enter the showtime, say which ticket and which lot, and see when to leave and when to start getting ready.
Show night at State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia. Not sure which time on the ticket matters? The concert night plan covers doors, opener and headliner at any venue.
The 20-minute drive is a typical run from Atlanta without show traffic (the optimistic number). In the app, set State Farm Arena as the destination and Apple Maps fills in the time from where you’re leaving.
Then add for show night: every car aiming at the same entrance (real drive to State Farm Arena). Change the row and every step before it moves.
The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on, and at most shows here the doors opened an hour earlier. With a general-admission ticket that gap is not spare: the spot on the floor you get is decided by where you are in the line when the doors open, and everyone with the same idea is on the same walk in. So the plan puts you in that line before doors, and the stretch from doors to showtime is a row of its own.
With a reserved seat the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.
Here is the evening drawn to scale. A maps app can number the drive. The rest is the walk in from the lot, the bag check, and the walk to your row.

The usual show times here
There is no fixed schedule at a concert venue; the promoter sets each show's time, and these are the ones this one runs most often. Pick the one on your ticket and every step before it moves. Anything else, tap the showtime and type it in.
Doors are an hour before showtime at most shows. The arena’s general rule is that doors open an hour before the event starts, and most concerts on its calendar post exactly that, though some open ninety minutes out, so check your show’s page.
The exceptions open ninety minutes out, so check the doors time on your event page in the week of the show. The event page on the official State Farm Arena site lists doors and showtime; the ticket often lists only one. If your gap is different, edit the settle-in row.
The train stops at the building: SEC District station is steps from Gates 2, 4 and 5. It was renamed at the end of 2025, so older directions call it GWCC/CNN Center. It is on the Blue and Green lines.
From the Red and Gold lines, which serve the airport and Midtown, change at Five Points, one stop east. By car, an evening show puts you on the roads into downtown at the end of the evening commute, and the arena warns that other events nearby add to the traffic.
State Farm Arena was previously called Philips Arena, so older directions, tickets and map pins may still use that name.
The arena runs its own parking and sells all of it through ParkMobile; booking ahead gets you a guaranteed spot at the lowest price. State Farm Drive is at the entrance and the Diamond Deck is next to the building, both under a minute’s walk. The Ruby Lot on Alabama Street is under three minutes away, and the Sapphire Deck and the CTR Garage, across the street on Centennial Olympic Park Drive, are under five.
A general-admission floor runs on the rules printed on that show’s event page, and they change from tour to tour. On a wristband show, numbered wristbands are handed out in person at Gate 5 in the morning, you can leave and come back, and you have to be back in line at Gate 5 by mid-afternoon to keep your number.
Overnight camping is not allowed. Once doors open, late floor ticket holders may be sent to one gate only. On other tours the pit wristband is picked up inside after doors. Read your event page before you plan the day.
Doors open an hour before the show at most concerts here. Bags can be up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches and do not have to be clear, but backpacks and hard-sided bags are turned away at any size.
Some tours bring their own rules: a clear-bag-only show limits you to a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag of the same size, and a phone-free show locks your phone in a Yondr pouch at the door, so read the event page before you pack. A paid bag valet by Gate 2, off Centennial Olympic Park Drive, holds anything that doesn’t pass. No outside food or drink, the building is cashless, and there is no re-entry.
Doors, lots and bag rules change; the official site is the live source.
For a general-admission ticket, be in the line before doors, which are an hour before showtime at most shows here. Be there half an hour before they open, and the ticket chip rebuilds the plan around that. For a reserved seat, aim to be at the gate 28 minutes before the show, which is what the plan above shows. Either way the walk in from the lot is the part to budget for, and it depends on which lot you got.
About 6:55 PM from Atlanta with a reserved seat with a 20-minute drive and a spot in the Sapphire Deck or the CTR Garage across the street. Later for State Farm Drive at the entrance, earlier for a general-admission floor ticket. Every row above is editable; the first travel row is your leave-by time.
The arena sells its own parking through ParkMobile, and booking ahead guarantees a spot at the lowest price. State Farm Drive and the Diamond Deck are under a minute’s walk from the doors, the Ruby Lot under three, and the Sapphire Deck and the CTR Garage across Centennial Olympic Park Drive under five. The official State Farm Arena site has the current lots.
Under a minute from State Farm Drive or the Diamond Deck, by the arena’s own figures, and under five from the Sapphire Deck or the CTR Garage across the street. The plan's default for the Sapphire Deck or the CTR Garage across the street is 5 minutes, and it is editable.
Yes. MARTA’s SEC District station, formerly GWCC/CNN Center, is steps from Gates 2, 4 and 5, on the Blue and Green lines. From the Red and Gold lines, including from the airport, change at Five Points, one stop east.
Up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches, clear or not, but no backpacks or hard-sided bags at any size. Some tours run clear-bag-only or phone-free entry, and the event page says so. A paid bag valet by Gate 2 takes anything that doesn’t pass. No outside food or drink, and no re-entry.

Ready Time keeps the plan and subtracts again when the show time changes. Put in the next ticket and the same steps land on new times, with an alert on each one.
Get a nudge at the right moment, while there's still time to act.
Each step gets its own alert, so you know what's next and how long you have.
Start the plan in the app, and the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show the time left, with a bar that fills as each step passes.
