Doors open an hour before showtime at most shows here. Enter the showtime, say which ticket and which lot, and see when to leave and when to start getting ready.
Show night at Kia Center, Orlando, Florida. Not sure which time on the ticket matters? The concert night plan covers doors, opener and headliner at any venue.
The 25-minute drive is a typical run from Orlando without show traffic (the optimistic number). In the app, set Kia Center as the destination and Apple Maps fills in the time from where you’re leaving.
Then add for show night: every car aiming at the same entrance (real drive to Kia Center). Change the row and every step before it moves.
The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on, and at most shows here the doors opened an hour earlier. With a general-admission ticket that gap is not spare: the spot on the floor you get is decided by where you are in the line when the doors open, and everyone with the same idea is on the same walk in. So the plan puts you in that line before doors, and the stretch from doors to showtime is a row of its own.
With a reserved seat the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.
Here is the evening drawn to scale. A maps app can number the drive. The rest is the walk in from the lot, the bag check, and the walk to your row.

The usual show times here
There is no fixed schedule at a concert venue; the promoter sets each show's time, and these are the ones this one runs most often. Pick the one on your ticket and every step before it moves. Anything else, tap the showtime and type it in.
Doors are an hour before showtime at most shows. The arena’s own answer is that doors open an hour before the time printed on your ticket, and every show on the calendar with a doors time posted runs that way.
Shows further out list doors as sixty to ninety minutes before until a clock time goes up, so look at the event page in the week of the show. The event page on the official Kia Center site lists doors and showtime; the ticket often lists only one. If your gap is different, edit the settle-in row.
SunRail stops at Church Street, a short walk east of the arena along Church Street, and it runs Monday to Friday only. On a weeknight the last northbound train leaves Church Street at 10:32 p.m. and the last southbound at 11:01 p.m., so check those against a late finish. A weekend event has no train at all.
LYMMO’s Grapefruit Line is a free downtown bus that stops at the arena and at the SunRail station, but its buses stop around 8:25 p.m. unless hours are extended for an event, so it is a way in more than a way home. LYNX Central Station, the hub for county buses, is one SunRail stop north. By car the arena points you at I-4 and SR 408, both of which lead to the ThreatLocker Garage.
Kia Center was previously called Amway Center, so older directions, tickets and map pins may still use that name.
The arena’s own garage is the ThreatLocker Garage, formerly the GEICO Garage, on the south side of the building at 400 West South Street. Its fifth floor has a pedestrian bridge into the arena. The arena also sells the 520 West Pine Street garage, about a five-minute walk away.
Both are prepaid through Ticketmaster or the box office, and sales close at 5 p.m. the day before. A ThreatLocker pass is good all day, but there is no in and out. The City of Orlando runs more downtown garages on a first come, first served basis. Rideshare drops off and picks up at Hughey Avenue and Pine Street, by the northeast corner of the arena.
General admission days run on their own clock. The floor line forms at the West Plaza entrance, at Division Avenue and Church Street, from 7 a.m. on the day of the show, the ThreatLocker Garage opens at the same time, and camping out overnight is not allowed. Anything you bring for the wait that is on the prohibited list, such as chairs, umbrellas or food, stays outside. The arena says those times can change by show.
Doors are an hour before the show at most events here. Bags are not allowed, and that includes purses and backpacks. You can carry one small clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 by 1 inches. Medical and parent bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 are the exception, and they go through an X-ray at designated entrances.
A bag that does not fit can go in a Binbox locker on the street-level plaza at the northwest corner, near Church Street and Division Avenue, for a fee through the Binbox app. Everyone is subject to a metal detector, a pat-down or a look through what you carry. No outside food or drink apart from medical exceptions, and the arena is cashless inside. There is no re-entry: once you leave, the ticket is spent.
Doors, lots and bag rules change; the official site is the live source.
For a general-admission ticket, be in the line before doors, which are an hour before showtime at most shows here. Be there half an hour before they open, and the ticket chip rebuilds the plan around that. For a reserved seat, aim to be at the gate 28 minutes before the show, which is what the plan above shows. Either way the walk in from the lot is the part to budget for, and it depends on which lot you got.
About 5:52 PM from Orlando with a reserved seat with a 25-minute drive and a spot in the ThreatLocker Garage. Earlier for a general-admission floor ticket or the 520 West Pine Street garage. Every row above is editable; the first travel row is your leave-by time.
The ThreatLocker Garage, formerly the GEICO Garage, is on the south side of the arena at 400 West South Street, and the 520 West Pine Street garage is about five minutes’ walk away. Both are prepaid through Ticketmaster or the box office until 5 p.m. the day before. ThreatLocker has no in and out. The City of Orlando runs more downtown garages, first come, first served. Rideshare uses Hughey Avenue and Pine Street, by the northeast corner. The official Kia Center site has the current lots.
A few minutes from the ThreatLocker Garage, which has a bridge into the arena from its fifth floor. The arena puts the 520 West Pine Street garage at about a five-minute walk. The plan's default for the 520 West Pine Street garage is 5 minutes, and it is editable.
On weekdays, yes. SunRail stops at Church Street, a short walk east of the arena, Monday to Friday only; the last northbound train leaves at 10:32 p.m. and the last southbound at 11:01 p.m. There is no train on a weekend. LYMMO’s Grapefruit Line is free and stops at the arena, but runs only until around 8:25 p.m. unless extended for an event.
No bags, purses and backpacks included. One small clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5 by 1 inches is allowed, and medical and parent bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 go through an X-ray at designated entrances. Binbox lockers on the northwest corner of the plaza take anything else, for a fee. No outside food or drink apart from medical exceptions, and no re-entry.
Going to a game instead? The stadium pages. Flying in? The airport pages.
Ready Time keeps the plan and subtracts again when the show time changes. Put in the next ticket and the same steps land on new times, with an alert on each one.
Get a nudge at the right moment, while there's still time to act.
Each step gets its own alert, so you know what's next and how long you have.
Start the plan in the app, and the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show the time left, with a bar that fills as each step passes.
Glance at it on the walk in without opening the app.
