The 30-minute drive is a typical run from Philadelphia without show traffic (the optimistic number). In the app, set Xfinity Mobile Arena as the destination and Apple Maps fills in the time from where you’re leaving.
Then add for show night: every car aiming at the same entrance (real drive to Xfinity Mobile Arena). Change the row and every step before it moves.
The time on the ticket is when the first act is due on, and at most shows here the doors opened an hour earlier. With a general-admission ticket that gap is not spare: the spot on the floor you get is decided by where you are in the line when the doors open, and everyone with the same idea is on the same walk in. So the plan puts you in that line before doors, and the stretch from doors to showtime is a row of its own.
With a reserved seat the deadline really is the show. Aim to be in your seat ten minutes before the first act, and budget the walk to your row: it is the part people misjudge, not the drive.

There is no fixed schedule at a concert venue; the promoter sets each show's time, and these are the ones this one runs most often. Pick the one on your ticket and every step before it moves. Anything else, tap the showtime and type it in.
Doors are an hour before showtime at most shows. An hour is what most of the calendar runs. A few shows open ninety minutes out, the device-free ones among them, and the event page carries the exact time. The event page on The official Xfinity Mobile Arena site lists doors and showtime; the ticket often lists only one. If your gap is different, edit the settle-in row.
Almost everything arrives on Broad Street. From I-95 in either direction and from the Walt Whitman Bridge it is the Broad Street or Sports Complex exit, and from the Turnpike it is 76 east and then south on Broad.
The train is the honest alternative: the Broad Street Line runs to NRG Station at Pattison Avenue, the last stop, and the arena is the first of the three venues you reach from it. From the Market-Frankford Line, change to the Broad Street Line southbound in Center City. Bus routes 4 and 17 also come down here, and SEPTA adds service for the busiest nights.
Xfinity Mobile Arena was previously called Wells Fargo Center, so older directions, tickets and map pins may still use that name.
The arena stands in the middle of the South Philadelphia sports complex with its own ring of lettered lots, shared with the stadiums either side on the days both are busy. It is self-park and it is no longer cash: cards, prepaid cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and booking ahead through SpotHero is usually cheaper than the gate.
Accessible parking sits next to the entrances on the east, west and south sides, and you can drop passengers at a door before going to find it. Lyft has a pick-up lot of its own in Lot D, at the southeast corner.
Which lot you end up in is mostly decided for you. The ones on the 11th Street side put you at that entrance in a few minutes; the outer ones are a longer walk in and a longer crawl out. On a night when a game at one of the neighbouring stadiums overlaps, the whole complex fills from the outside in and the useful lot is whichever one the traffic officers are waving you into.
Doors are an hour before the show at most events. Screening is either a walk-through metal detector or the frictionless kind depending on the night, and the detectors are where a full pocket costs you: an alarm means a second, slower search. Bags are the thing to sort out at home. A clutch or wristlet up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches walks straight in.
Anything bigger than that and smaller than 14 by 14 by 6 goes through an x-ray at the bag doors on Broad Street, 11th Street or the premium entrance. Backpacks, suitcases and big multi-compartment bags are refused outright, though unlike most arenas there are lockers for them on the 11th Street side, priced by size and card only. No outside food or drink apart from baby food and medical needs, and an empty refillable bottle is fine. No re-entry once your ticket is scanned.

For a general-admission ticket, be in the line before doors, which are an hour before showtime at most shows here. Be there half an hour before they open, and the ticket chip rebuilds the plan around that.
For a reserved seat, aim to be at the gate half an hour before the show, which is what the plan above shows. Either way the walk in from the lot is the part to budget for, and it depends on which lot you got. Carrying a bag adds about ten minutes to that.
