Getting to Galaxy Stadium

The Marsha Sharp Freeway and University Avenue deliver you to the stadium, with Loop 289 and I 27 feeding them from further out, and most people flying in land at Lubbock and drive the last twenty minutes. Wes Kittley Drive closes between Eighth Street and Canton Avenue from three hours before kickoff until about an hour after the game, which catches anybody planning to be dropped near Gate 1. Citibus runs a shuttle for six dollars return, booked through the GoPass app, but it starts from that free lot by the health sciences centre rather than from anywhere in town, so it is a parking decision rather than a way of skipping the drive.
